Get creative with design, colour and chalk to:

1. Practice creating multiple representations of the same fraction (i.e 1/2 or 1/4) and visually demonstrate an understanding of equivalent fractions.

2. Order and compare fractions.

1. Draw the outlines of a variety of different types of triangles.

2. Get creative with design, colour and chalk to fill in the triangles to identify those with a common characteristic. (i.e. colour in all triangles with a 90 degree angle with the same design).

3. Describe how each group was determined.
